Monthly Lectures Free public lectures on geographical topics are offered once a month from
September through May (except for January). Invited guest, featuring
students and faculty, present research topics, travel logs, and other
interesting geographical topics from within the U.S. and around the world.
Lectures are usually held on the first Friday of each month (unless otherwise noted). The meetings start at 8:00 PM in Franklin Hall, room 101, at Los Angeles City College, 855 North Vermont Ave., Los Angeles, California. The December lecture is held at the LAGS Annual Banquet, which takes place at a local restaurant.
